09th October 2008: CrackDust Launch and Rock Against Aids Festivals

Expect some real shit coming your way this season as Stane lauches CrackDust , the band has been underground since it was formed in 2006, they have released a single [Deranged Psychopath] plus a video in 2006 and a 16 track Album [Dented Reality] end of 2007.The band is ready to blow your minds out.

The festival is a must to attend as these guys really mean business. Those who were at Woodstock festival know what i am talking about. The band appeared for their first time to unleash the dust and they are now ready to take the world by storm, so watch this space for more information. Rock Against Aids is also in the pipeline and the show is at the beginning of Dec. More info click here

18th Sep 2008: UB Amphitheater

Woodstock Botswana has come and gone and If you were not part of the audience you will have to wait for next year as this will be an annual event according to the organisers and all i can tell you is you really missed loads of shit.

CrackDust started the show with a high note cracking the dust, this was their first show since the band was formed 2 years back. Other bands followed including RhutZ which drove the pit crazy like nobodies business. If you have listened to SlipKnot then you know RhutZ.

Other news from Ivo, local bands will share the stage with Nosey Road at Ub on the 4th of Oct.  Bands to appear include Stane, Skinflint, Wrust and The Substance. Be there all metal heads

4th September 2008: Sound Of Hope brings RhutZ to Woodstock Botswana

This weekend at G-North(old quad track, phakalane estate), it will be happening again as we see rock bands coming together to raise money for the disadvantaged. All are encouraged to come and be part of the charity show. Your presence can make a change. The show organised by sound of hope and Nosey Road will commence at 1300 hrs till 2400 hrs. All proceeds go to sponsor a child foundation

T-Shirts for the show are on sale (P50) at various Nosey Road Video outlet, so have your copy before its late. See you there metal heads. This is going to be a show of its own kind and the first to be hosted in Botswana

12th August 2008: Gaborone North Hosts Rock Bands

We are likely to have a gig first week of september at G. North. Stane will share the stage with other popular rock bands in Botswana. Time will be communicated as soon as posible, after everything is confirmed.

23rd June 2008: Live On Radio

Stane will pay a visit to Radio Botswana(RB 1) this coming weekend 28th June at 1200 hrs, the purpose of the tour is to promote their show which will be later that evening at The Shebeen, so stay tuned and come in large numbers as usual. 

19th June 2008: End of Month Gig

Stane is back again this winter at the Shebeen, so if you wanna keep your body hot all night long don't hesitate to miss this one, this time Skinflint is in the line up to warm up the mosh pit and expect more stage lights than last gig, thats how staner's do it and enjoy it. Brooks will also be doing his usual staff.

28th May 2008: Gig Confirmed

It has been finalised last night, Stane will share the stage with Jackson at The Shebeen this friday, those that have been into music know Jackson, this is one of the guys who once played for a group called Headless Cross. Still on that , Brooks (Rock DJ) will also be there to warm up the pit before the gig start. See You There Guys.

27th May 2008: Old Club Havana To Host STANE

I have just received an update from one of the die hard metal brother that very soon we might see a couple of shows around the city, on that note we might see Stane doing their thing soon at the old club havana now called The Shebeen: Maruapula Shopping Complex

As soon as it is confirmed tonight, I will update you. This time expect some real live shit, I'm talking fog machines and lots of brutal lights. Don't Miss.

1st April 2008: Very Hectic In The Studio

Stane is very busy in the studio making up some new songs, and working very hard to come up with their first Demo after winter season, so expect fatal staff coming your way and hopefuly stane new t-shirt might be ready too. They are still busy working on the artwork.

29th March 2008: Slayar Migrate to Fracistown:

Another band member migrate to gheto which is 400 km away from our studio, where we do rehersals. But this wont stop Stane from doing what they like most.  Stane will always maintain as is our motto. It will be the same day Stane will be having a show with metal orizon in Francistown to welcome him in the city.

25th March 2008: Arrival Of Mr E-Force

Finally the moment we have been waiting for has arrived, Lead guitarist of Stane has arrived in Bots to join the band full time, It was a great moment at the Air Airport, Rockers came in big numbers to welcome him home. His arrival is going to make a big difference as the band will start playing as a five piece. Slayar on Bass and Vocals, Stranjar on Guitars, T'x on Guitars, Ace on Drums and Mr E-Force on Lead guitars. All those around Gheto don't have to miss this gig scheduled for this weekend. It will be the first time Stane to play up north.

22nd March 2008: Return of Mr E-Force:

Its quite sometime not hanging around with this gentleman, he left to work in UK some years back, Now he will be back soon to join the band full time. Stane has been playing as a 4 piece band since then and those attending Francistown Gig expect something you had never seen before.....
